2. Scope of Data Acquisition

To deliver accurate financial tracking and maintain account integrity, we collect the following:

• 2.1 Mobile Number: Acts as your primary identifier. We utilize this for robust identity verification to thwart unauthorized access and ensure your financial records remain private.
• 2.2 Email Address (Optional): Used for dispatching financial summaries, facilitating password recovery, and sending critical service alerts.
• 2.3 Camera & Visual Media (Optional): Enables you to digitize physical receipts or invoices for expense tracking and customize your profile interface. We do not access your gallery for any extraneous purposes.
• 2.4 Emergency Contact Details: Functions as a secondary security layer. In instances of suspicious account activity where you are unreachable, we may alert your designated contact to safeguard your assets.
• 2.5 Unique Identifiers (User/Device/Ad ID, Optional): Helps us maintain session stability, prevent fraudulent multi-device logins, and refine user experience. Advertising IDs can be managed via your OS settings.
• 2.6 Coarse Location (Optional): Assists in automating regional settings such as local currency symbols and time zone synchronization for precise logging.
• 2.7 Diagnostic Crash Logs: Technical data generated during unexpected app failures. This is vital for our engineering team to resolve bugs and enhance the reliability of your digital ledger.
• 2.8 Installed Application Inventory: Analyzed solely to identify software conflicts that might hinder Sri Khata's performance, ensuring a seamless operating environment.
• 2.9 Call Log Access (Optional): Limited to facilitating automated verification. It streamlines the login process by detecting verification signals, removing the need for manual OTP entry. We never monitor your actual conversations.
• 2.10 SMS Data (Optional): Used to facilitate the automatic detection and categorization of financial transaction SMS alerts, allowing for seamless expense tracking without manual entry. It also helps in auto-filling verification codes (OTPs) during secure logins. We process only financial or service-related messages and never access your personal or private conversations.
• 2.11 Comprehensive Device Metrics: Includes storage availability, battery health, hardware specs, and network sensors. This data allows us to optimize app performance based on your specific hardware capabilities.

3. Protective Measures

Your data is shielded using sophisticated end-to-end encryption standards. We enforce rigorous internal protocols where data access is restricted to authorized personnel only, following strict "need-to-know" principles.

4. Retention & User Rights

Data is stored in accordance with Indian statutory requirements. You may exercise your right to erasure by emailing business@srikhata.com; requests are finalized within 15 business days. Inactive accounts (18 months of dormancy) are subject to automated deletion following a 30-day notice.
